Twain Enterprises is a jewelery store. This unit was made to work in the corner of the main lobby where they present all their jewelery. The client’s objective was to increase breathing space and reduce headaches that the employees claim to be getting. But after getting this unit it not just accomplished that goal, the unit has also provided great aesthetics around the jewelery which allow customers who visit feel more comfortable when examining the jewelery they want to pick out. Even staff of Twain Enterprises are also lured into the magnificence of this unit when they bring customers towards the wall during their work and break. Any regular customer can really feel that powerful energy and healthy breathing space when they hang around long enough.

project: Progeny Bowls

Made in 2012 for testing of the air quality. The progeny’s purpose is to demonstrate an example of what kind of air quality is in your space by how well the plants inside the progenies are doing. If the plants look bad, the air quality is bad, and vice versa. This relationship was then used to determine whether or not they needed a green wall or not. After a few days the plants started lowering in quality, so it determined that the Lobby needed a green wall (which is now installed shown by the picture on the right) which resulted in better air quality.

The unit was built inside the office of Adi. After the success of the corner unit, (shown above) expansion of this project was spread out to the office. The units are umbilicals of the main ecosystem (corner unit) and consists of 4 trays, 1 planter, and 1 lava rock wall.
